The hard work and high aspirations of students and staff across Ark are reflected in the final destinations data for 2023 school leavers.
An impressive 83 percent of our Year 13 graduates accepted a place at university, compared to 64 percent nationally in 2022.
Furthermore, 47 percent of all Key Stage 5 leavers have gone on to study at a top third university. This means that Ark students are at least three times more likely to progress to top third providers compared to students nationally.
The data also revealed that Ark's free school meal students who apply to Oxford are three times more likely to be accepted than free school meal students nationally (18 percent vs. six percent).
The most popular courses of study for our grads included Accounting and Finance, Biomedical Sciences, Business, Computer Science, Law and Psychology. Many of our students also went on to fantastic apprenticeships at organisations like KPMG, PWC and the Civil Service.
Head of Destinations, Sarah Cullen said, "The fact that the vast majority of our students secured a place at university is a testament to the high aspirations and excellent teaching in our schools. We are committed to providing our students with the best possible education and supporting them to achieve their full potential."
