Why do we learn biology?
Biology is a facilitating subject that is well regarded by university and will therefore get you onto a wide range of degree choices. It is also a fascinating insight into how the body and world around us works. It takes everything you have learnt at GCSE and makes it ten times more interesting by covering it in far more depth. Who wouldn't want to know how neurons fire, how we produce the energy to move and how our genes control our phenotype.
