In English and Maths, 82 percent of students achieved grade 4+, while 61 percent achieved a grade 5+. This represents an impressive 12 percentage points leap up from 2019 results. Students also made outstanding improvement in history, science, modern foreign languages (French/Spanish) and Religious Studies.

“We know that GCSEs are an essential milestone in a student’s academic journey, so we are delighted to have gained so many incredible grades that will enable them to progress to great post 16 courses. We look forward to working with many of them in our outstanding sixth form.”

Albert Tahiri achieved 10 straight grade 9’s and grade A in additional maths, is clearly very proud of his achievements. “He said, “I worked incredibly hard to achieve these grades, always planning ahead for next year”. Clearly well deserved outcomes, Albert wants to study Maths, Further Maths, Chemistry and Economics.
Ayesha Ridma achieved eight grade 9’s and two grade 8’s and plus a grade A in additional maths. Ayesha joined Ark Academy in Year 10 having moved from Bangladesh the previous year. Incredibly she had never studied French but managed a grade 9 in French. Ayesha hopes to pursue her dream of becoming a doctor.
Haitham Al-Hirch achieved four grade 9’s, one grade 8, one 7 and 2 grade 5’s is enrolling in the sixth form and currently wants to pursue law after ‘A’ Levels. He is photographed with an English teacher congratulating him for getting full marks in his English Literature exam.
Rebekah Tate achieved four grade 9s and six grades 8’s has been a key member of the Ark Schools music programme having had the opportunity to learn the oboe at school. She will continue with ‘A’ Levels music post 16. She is photographed here with her two brothers who both attended Ark Academy Sixth Form and are now at university.
Kalp Jain & Rishi Vekaria
Kalp Jain achieved four 9’s, one 8, two 7’s and three 6’s and will study maths, chemistry and biology in our sixth form.
Rishi Vekaria achieved one 9, five 8s, two 7s, one 6 and grade B in additional maths. Rishi will study Maths, Chemistry and Biology in the Sixth Form.
Asmagh Bouhali & Sophia Emile
Asmagh Bouhali achieved five 9s, two 8s and three 7s plus A in additional maths, with her friend Sophia Emile who achieved one 9, five 8s & four 7s and grade D in additional maths.
Melik Brahaj achieved one 9, one 8, four 7’s and three 6’s plus grade A in additional maths and he will study Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Economics in the sixth form.
Ahmad Benhagouga achieved five grade 8’s, one 7 and four 6’s and grade D in additional maths, he will study Maths, Further Maths, Chemistry and Economics in the sixth form.
Shai Kaira and his Mother are delighted with his grades and he will study Biology, Maths and History in the sixth form.
Zahraa Al-Shaibani achieved five grade 9s, four 8s and one 7 and will study Maths, Further Maths, Chemistry and Biology in the Sixth Form.
