As part our Earth and Space topic, Year 5 visited the Peter Harrison Planetarium in Greenwich. We had a tour of the famous observatory, and this was followed by a planetarium show which was presented by one the astronomers inside the planetarium! During the show we learnt about our amazing solar system, looking closely at the planets. The astronomer showed us 3D images of our planet earth and we understood what makes our planet so special. It was an enjoyable day for all!
